‛Alī Rizā Dāvūd-Nizhād (born May 7, 1953, Tehran, Iran) is a well-known Iranian filmmaker who has worked as a director, writer, and producer. Having directed more than 20 films in his 40-year career, he has a large body of work. His family has a significant presence in the Iranian film industry, with his mother, Ihtirāmalsādāt Habībīyān, a successful actress, and his two children, as well as his older brother, Muhammad Rizā Dāvūd Nizhād. Having participated in numerous national and international film festivals and won numerous prestigious awards, Davood Nejad has left a lasting impression on the industry.
