Abbas Panahi
Abbas Panahi is a writer and historian.He is an associate research professor of Iranian history of Guilan University, Iran. He is a historian and researcher in the field of contemporary history of Iran and Guilan. Focusing on the cultural, social, and political history of Iran from the Safavid period to the present, ha has published many articles on the role and function of women in contemporary Iranian history; Iranians and their relations with the countries of the Caucasus; and Iran’s foreign relations with European countries and the USA. Part of his studies are on the documents of contemporary Iranian history and he has published several books in this field.
He has more than forty research articles and thirty books in his scientific career. Among his most important research books are; An Introduction to the Fields and Departments of Iranology in Europe, North America and Japan(2017); and also the Impact of World War I on Intellectual and Political Relations between Iran and Germany(2019).
