Ghasem Gharib
Dr. Ghasem Gharib is a lecture in the History Department at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and a research assistant in the Department of Iranian Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He teaches and researches post-Islamic Iranian history and has published articles on intellectual history, the history of political thought in Iran, and historiography. Dr. Gharib’s research interests include interdisciplinary studies connecting history with other fields, and he has increasingly focused on editing Persian manuscripts in recent years. Besides publishing several books on this subject, he is a key member of the digital cataloging project for Mongol-era eastern manuscripts at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
