Fatemeh Alamdar
Fatemeh Alamdar received her Ph.D. in Economic Sociology and Development in 2017 from the University of Tehran and is currently an independent scholar in the fields of social psychology and gender studies. She has so far published two books: Bītafāvutī; Y ak Intikhāb-i Nāguzīr (Indifference; An Inevitable Choice), a study of how Iranians adopt indifference in their everyday lives, and Bandah Ustād Hastam! (I Am the Professor!), a study of the professional experiences of faculty members in Iranian higher education institutions. In addition, she has two forthcoming books: Zanān-i Bī-sūrat va Mardān-i Bī-sidā (Faceless Women and Voiceless Men), a social-psychological study of gender conflicts in Iran, and Īrānī-Jamā‛at (The Iranian Folk), a review of the roots of self-blame among Iranians and several related issues.
