Nastaran Doregiraei
Nastaran Doregiraei holds both BA and MA degrees in Cinema Studies from Iran
University of Art. Her research focuses on Iranian cinema, feminist film theory, and
the intersections of power, surveillance, and visual culture. Her MA thesis examined
the aesthetics of Panopticon surveillance in Iranian cinema, drawing on Michel
Foucault’s conceptual framework. Her articles have been published or are
forthcoming in journals including the Journal of Middle East Women’s Studies.
