Nūnvaguldūn(A Moment of Innocence; 1996) is a feature film written and directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf(Muhsin Makhmalbāf).Before the Revolution of 1979, the young Makhmalbaf, as a guerrilla, together with a young woman, attacked a policeman to disarm him as part of a protest campaign against the Shah’s regime. Makhmalbaf assaulted the officer and the young woman vanished. Two decades later, Makhmalbaf, decided to make a semi-autobiographical film about the event, but from a different, humanistic perspective. The film received the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland, in 1996.
