Naghmeh Rezaie
Naghmeh Rezaie is an adaptation studies scholar interested in interdisciplinary research areas that engage adaptation theory, film theory, intertextuality, global and national cinemas, Iranian films, and comparative literature. She initiated her educational journey at the University of Tehran in 2003 and completed her PhD in English at the University of Delaware in 2021. Her PhD dissertation on cross-cultural adaptations in Iranian cinema explores border-crossing encounters between Iranian films and global literature as means of cross-cultural dialogues. Naghmeh is the author of seven poetry collections published in Iran and also a published translator. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Delaware, and is currently working on T-Consciousness theory and intertextuality.
