Analyzing both poetic realism and allegorical narratives, it examines how Iranian filmmakers have developed a unique cinematic language that balances aesthetic minimalism with profound socio-political critique. Through an in-depth analysis of the cinematic techniques and philosophical frameworks utilized by key directors, this study reveals how Iranian cinema engages with existential themes, identity, and societal constraints. The article considers how New Wave auteurs employ metaphor, silence, and character-driven storytelling to capture universal human experiences, solidifying Iranian cinema’s place within world cinema as a resilient voice of cultural and philosophical exploration.
