Farzānah Ta’īdī was a renowned Iranian cinema and theater actress, born in Tehran in 1945. She appeared in several notable films such as “Not Without My Daughter” (year), “Faryād Zīr-i Āb” (year), “Safar-i Sang” (year), and “The Soil” (year).  She also made her mark on television by starring in the series “The Divorce” (year) produced by Masoud Asadollahi. Her memorable performance in “Faryād Zīr-i Āb” alongside Dāryūsh Iqbālī is still cherished by her fans. Despite facing professional obstacles after the 1979 revolution, she remained dedicated to her craft and continued to contribute to the industry. She passed away in London on March 23, 2020. Ta’īdī was dismissed from her official post at the Iranian Ministry of Culture in the early 80s, but her talent and contributions to Iranian cinema will always be remembered.
