Hadīyah Tihrānī is a renowned Iranian actress, born on June 25, 1972. She began her acting career in 1997 with the film “The Soltan”, directed by Mas‛ūd Kīmīyā’ī. Her outstanding performance in the movie won her a Hafez Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and paved the way for a successful career in the entertainment industry. She has won several national and international awards, including two Crystal Simorghs for her performances in “Red” (1999) and “Fireworks Wednesday” (2006), four Hafez Awards, an Iran Cinema Celebration Award, and an Iran’s Film Critics and Writers Association Award.
