Hamīd Nimatallāh (born in 1967) is an Iranian writer and filmmaker who started working in the film industry as Masoud Kimiai’s assistant director. His debut film as a filmmaker was Hard Makeup (Ārāyish-i Ghalīz, 2014), for which he received special recognition at the Fajr International Film Festival in 2013. Notably, Hamid Nematollah is the brother of renowned screenwriter Sa‛īd Nematollah, and is married to author Ma‛sūmah Bayāt. Furthermore, he has a background in journalism, having contributed to publications such as Haftināmah-yi Cinema Guzārish-i Film, and Māhnāmah-yi Film va Cinema. Nematollah and his spouse have served on the editorial board of Māhnāmah-yiAdabīParvīn.
