Hānīyah Tavassulī is a distinguished Iranian actress born on June 4, 1979. She began her acting career in 2000 and quickly gained popularity due to her outstanding performances. In 2003, she won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the Iran Cinema Celebration for her remarkable acting in the movie “White Nights.” Moreover, she won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Leading Actress at the 31st Fajr International Film Festival for her role in the movie “The Corridor” (2013). Tavassoli has been nominated for five Hafez Awards and received an award from Iran’s Film Critics and Writers Association.
