Humā Rūstā, born on September 26, 1946, was a celebrated Iranian actress renowned for her contributions to cinema and theater. Her acting career began in 1971 when she took on a role in “Dīvār-i Shīshah-yi,” directed by Samuel Khāchīkīyān. Notable highlights from her filmography include “Little Bird of Happiness” (1988), “Tamām-i vasvasih-hā-yi zamīn” (1989), “Tīgh-i Āftāb” (1990), and “From Karkheh to Rhine” (1993). Tragically, she passed away on September 26, 2015, in Los Angeles after battling cancer. She was laid to rest in Bihisht-i Zahrā, Tehran, Iran.
