Katāyūn Amīr-Ibrāhīmī is an Iranian actress born in 1939. She began her acting career in 1963 with the movie “Spider’s Web.” Most of her notable performances were before the Islami Revolution in Iran. She was best known for her roles in “The Black Suit Thief” (1968), “A Woman Called Sharab” (1967), and “Hassan, the Bald” (1970). After the revolution in  1979, she disappeared from the screen for 27 years until she returned to acting with the comedy series “Without Description” (2002), directed by Mahdī Mazlūmī.
