Marzīyah Burūmand (born June 8, 1951, Tehran, Iran) is a well-known Iranian filmmaker, animator, and screenwriter who is recognized for having made substantial contributions to the Iranian animation industry. The animated TV series, Grandma’s House (1987), which has become a legendary element of Iranian popular culture, is her most well-known work.
