Mas‛ūd Ābparvar (born June 23, 1961, Tehran, Iran) is a well-known Iranian director and writer. He graduated in film direction from the College of Cinema and Theater, Art University of Tehran, demonstrating his strong academic background in cinematic arts. As a member of the Farabi Cinematic Foundation, Abparvar has made significant contributions to the Iranian cinema industry with his screenwriting and filmmaking abilities. He has also set up a workshop for producing Iranian music videos, which would significantly promote the arts in Iran. His influence in the Iranian film industry is further evidenced by his role as a distinguished judge for the “Four, Three, Two, One ” film competition that is run by the Channel 4’s Literature and Art Group of the Iranian State Television.
