Nīkī Karīmī is a well-known Iranian actress and filmmaker, born on November 10, 1971, in Tehran, Iran. She is known for her remarkable contributions to the post-Islamic Revolution Iranian Cinema and has received numerous awards for her work. Karīmī started her career in the late 1980s and gained critical acclaim for her role in “Sara” (1992), which earned her the Best Actress award at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
