Saeed Pursamimi/Saʿīd Pūrsamīmī/سعید پورصمیمی

Saʿīd Pūrsamīmī (February 29, 1944 –), born in Tehran, is an acclaimed Iranian actor. He began his cinematic career with Toḥfeh-hā (The Odd People, 1984). On television, he appeared in numerous series, including Honar (Theater), written by Yasmina Reza. Pūrsamīmī has won three Crystal Simorghs for Best Supporting Actor for Nakḥodā Khorshīd (Captain Khorshid, 1986),
Toḥfeh-hā (The Odd People, 1984), and Parde-ye Akhar (The Last Act, 1990). In 2022, he won the Audience Award for Best International Actor at the Golden Rooster Awards for his role in Barādarān-e Leylā (Leyla’s Brothers, 2022) by Saʿīd Roustāyī.
