Sūsan Taslīmī, born on February 7, 1950, is a renowned Iranian theater and cinema director and actor. She is widely recognized for her outstanding performances in Bahrām Bayzā’ī’s films, such as “Charīkah Tārā” (year), “Death of Yazdgerd” (year), “Bashu, the Little Stranger” (year), and “Shāyad Vaqtī Dīgar” (year). Sūsan  is celebrated as one of the greatest actresses in the history of Iranian cinema and was the first woman to introduce a distinctive acting style in Iran. In 2002, she was awarded the distinguished Cultural and Artistic Personality Award in Sweden. Currently residing in Sweden, Susan continues to excel as a theater and cinema director and actor. Her diverse career has spanned both Iran and Sweden, leaving an indelible mark on both countries’ art scenes.
