Zar Amīr Ibrāhīmī, also known as Zahrā Amīr Ibrāhīmī, is a French-Iranian actress and director. She began her career in theater and short films in Tehran. After a scandal in 2006, she moved to Paris in 2008 and rebuilt her acting career, becoming a symbol of hope for independent Iranian women. In 2022, she won the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in “Holy Spider.” She is also a producer, BBC host, and an influential personality in the industry.
