Hojjat is in love with Atefeh, and they’ve agreed that if Hojjat finds his desired wife, they’ll end their friendship. Hojjat plans to marry Masoumeh, but Qasem throws him in jail over a debt owed by Ismaeil, Masoumeh’s father. Hojjat attempts to settle Qasem’s debt, and Qasem, to sabotage Hojjat and Masoumeh’s relationship, fails. When Mehdi, a longtime friend of both Hojjat and Qasem who seeks to marry Qasem’s sister, Fatemeh, offers to pay Qasem’s debt, Qasem threatens to prevent his sister’s marriage.
