A pilot (Iraj Ghaderi), who has a wife and a son, is sent on a mission, but his plane crashes due to an accident. He is injured and suffers from amnesia. A nomadic girl named Fataneh (Tahmineh) takes care of him. However, as per the tribal customs and the decision of Sattar (Reza Beyk Imanverdi), Fataneh is tortured and branded with shame for helping a stranger. Fataneh escapes and goes to the pilot. Sattar confronts the pilot, and Fataneh injures him with a knife. Subsequently, the pilot, now called Khodadad by the people, gets into a fight with a grocer named Hossein, who intends to harm Fataneh, and steals his money. Soon, Khodadad becomes the most notorious rebel in the area, and his son is assigned by the government to annihilate Khodadad and his followers. Father and son face each other, and Khodadad is killed. Fataneh is also shot by a young man who loves her.
