A young man inherits his father’s properties but faces a conspiracy by his father’s butler and his uncle’s wife. He gets injured in an accident as a result of their plot. A young shepherd girl finds him and takes care of him until he recovers. They develop feelings for each other, and the young man soon realizes that the other half of a charm he possesses is in the possession of the shepherd girl, revealing that she is, in fact, his cousin.
