Nader is a painter who meets a girl named Azar and uses her as a painting model. Some time later, Nader introduces Behrouz, his friend, to Rahbar, the head of the city theater, and asks Azar to cooperate with him, and draws some plans for his show. Behrouz stays in an inn to write his play; But after finishing the work, no publisher is willing to publish his work. One night, he meets a dwarf named Dash Asadollah, who takes him for fun. Some time later, Behrouz, who is sick and suffering, meets a woman with whom he cooperates in publishing his plays. Behrouz follows his work seriously every day, until Hormuz, his fiancee, returns from a trip. When Behrouz faces Hormoz’s protest, he leaves his house and goes to Nader, and reviews his memories with Azar. He is worried and hears Azar’s voice.
