A wedding day turns tragic when a groom is killed by a wild animal. His brother and the grieving bride seek revenge by venturing into the forest. In the rural setting, inspired by Bahram Beyzai’s ‘Bashu the Little Stranger,’ the villagers of Abad have all been harmed by a leopard. They unite to hunt the creature, using traps and different techniques. During a pivotal night, they encounter Roja, a girl whose song stops them from hunting the leopard. Donya falls in love with Roja, while Mirshekar seeks revenge. They eventually wound the leopard, but Roja, wounded by Donya, disappears into the forest, leaving a trail of complex emotions and haunting memories.
