A young girl, Mary Apik, lives with her mother, Apik Yousefian, in a house located at the end of a dead-end street. On a rainy day, the girl is looking out the window at the street when she notices a man, Parviz Bahador, standing outside their house holding an umbrella in the rain, looking at her window. This situation repeats over several days, with the man appearing daily in the street outside the girl’s house. The girl, believing that the man is interested in her, gets close to him and develops an interest in him. However, one day, the girl’s brother, Bahman Zarinpour, who is often away on trips, returns home after a long journey. As soon as he arrives, the mysterious man enters and reveals himself as an officer assigned to arrest the brother.
