Mashallah (Iraj Ghaderi) and Asghar (Bahman Mofid), who are truck drivers, get acquainted with Ms. Zari as the new tenant of Mashallah’s mother’s house (Mehri Vedadian). Mashallah falls for Zari and makes a marriage proposal to her. Zari, who was a cafe singer, goes to her colleague Tami and expresses regret about working in the cafe. Asghar becomes aware of Zari’s interactions with a man who is trying to extort her. Asghar tries to help Zari, but Mashallah’s apprentice and his mother cast doubts in Mashallah’s mind about Zari and Asghar. Zari turns to Tami, and the cafe boss and his men imprison her to force her to perform at the cafe. Asghar is injured in a conflict with the cafe boss’s men. Tami relates the incident to Mashallah, and Mashallah goes to see Asghar; however, Asghar dies from his severe injuries. Mashallah confronts Asghar’s killers and defeats them, and finds Zari at the house of the local spiritual leader. They bury Asghar’s body, and Mashallah is shot down by a police bullet.
