Dance in the Dust” (2001) is an Iranian film by Asghar Farhadi, marking his directorial debut. Nazar meets Reyhane on a minibus, leading to their marriage. After an unfortunate incident involving Reyhane’s mother, they divorce. Despite this, Nazar fulfills his financial obligation by providing Reyhane’s dowry to the court. Nazar’s work involves caring for horses and getting bitten by a snake. In a twist, he joins Snake, a snake catcher, on a desert trip. After a successful snake capture, Nazar loses a finger due to a snake bite. Snake, who was once imprisoned, shares his story and helps Nazar pay for the operation. Later, Nazar realizes the sacrifices made by others for him.
