Sasan Sarkesh, an Iranian who has spent the past thirty years away from his homeland, arrives back in Iran. Upon his arrival at Mehrabad airport, he is greeted by Elias, a driver who takes him to his hotel. The subsequent day sees both Sasan and Elias embarking on a journey to Sasan’s hometown, Tabriz. During this trip, a revealing conversation unfolds, shedding light on Sasan’s deeply troubled state of mind. Elias learns that Sasan is grappling with thoughts of suicide, casting a somber shadow over their expedition.
