The Uprising | Shūrash | شورش

Kazem, a respected workshop foreman, has two sons named Jafar and Aziz, who, apparently, are not his biological sons. Due to these suspicions and rumors, Kazem has separated from his wife and marries Zahra, his colleague’s daughter. However, Jafar and his accomplices, who are agents of the employer, try to turn Kazem against Aziz and his wife. Kazem, using the pretext that Aziz is suspicious of his wife, drives him away. Karim, a young light-minded man, is interested in Zahra. Prompted by Jafar, he attempts to murder Kazem, but before that happens, Kazem, suspecting his wife, kills him. It erupts chaos in the workshop, and during the turmoil, led by Jafar and Karim, Kazem is killed. Two unidentified individuals, believed to be Jafar and Karim, attack from behind with knives.
