Iran before the Constitutional Revolution. People have formed a revolutionary committee to fight against the ruling Khan (Mohsen Mahdavi). The Cossacks are engaged in torturing and executing the people, while Sheikh Saleh (Nasser Malekmotiee) and his brother Israfil (Jamshid Mehrdad) are assisted by an old man named Khajeh Esa (Ali Akbar Mahdavi Far) in preparing for the fight against the ruling Khan and his henchman Halaku (Kamran Bakhtiar). Halaku, with his men, has taken Khan’s daughter (Sepideh) hostage and seized control of the palace. Sheikh Saleh and Israfil approach her by rescuing Khan’s daughter. Some time later, Sheikh Saleh marries the ruler’s daughter and takes his place in the government. However, his brother’s mischief and the Cossacks force him to step down from power, and he rushes to “Qareh Qaleh” to meet Colonel (Reza Rakhshani) with the help of his brother. They are both killed in a hail of bullets from the Cossacks, but Sheikh Saleh manages to destroy “Qareh Qaleh” with a dynamite explosion before his death.
