Samad and the Fulad Zereh Demon | Ṣamad va fūlādʹzirah dīv | صمد و فولاد زره دیو

Samad (Parviz Sayyad) sets fire to the demon’s hair, saving the steel armor of the demon from an eight-thousand-year-old captivity. The demon consumes the flesh of a goat, and the shepherd, Estvar (Abdolali Homayoun), complains to the authorities. The demon kidnaps Leila (Shahnaz Tehrani) for Samad, and he is arrested and imprisoned with the complaint of Kadkhoda (Reza Shafiee). The demon rescues Samad and takes him to the city. Samad and the demon cause trouble in the city and are accused of stealing two sheep carcasses, leading to police pursuit. They are taken to a mental institution, and two doctors (Jalal Moghaddam and Farrokh Ghafori) treat Samad and the demon. The demon gets involved with a woman (Nouri Kasraei) who believes she has brought her steel armor to the hippie group and the youth of “Alamed.” Some time later, the woman abandons the demon, and the steel armor, which is wounded in a fight, chooses to return to its mythical world. Samad, too, is forced to return to his hometown.
