Mr. Badiei (played by Homayoun Ershadi), a middle-aged man, is trying to commit suicide and has dug his grave next to a tree. He wants to take his sleeping pills and sleep in this grave at night. Badiee is looking for someone who will sprinkle dirt on his body tomorrow morning after his death. On the path he takes to find such a person, he meets various people such as a soldier, an Afghan student, and a man who is a natural history museum worker, and he asks them to come to him tomorrow morning and throw “twenty shovelfuls of dirt” on him and an envelope with Take 200 thousand tomans of money on the dashboard of the car as salary. The soldier rejects the offer and runs away to his barracks, the Afghan student starts preaching a novel and considers suicide to be against the teachings of Islam and the instructions of the Koran, but the museum worker, who later turns out to be hunting birds such as quail and partridge for taxidermy in the museum, praises A story about the day of his own suicide and how “the taste of a berry stopped him from committing suicide” accepts his offer. At the end of the film, when we are waiting to see the fate of “Badiei”, we see images from behind the scenes, the director and the film crew and the main actor.
