PersianAction, Drama 97 min 1993

After a guard is killed in the ruins of Persepolis, a group of antiquities smugglers steal a precious stone with the intent of selling it at an auction in London. To investigate the case, Sadegh and Haj Morteza are assigned the task. They manage to identify the group members by apprehending the guard involved in the theft and smuggling of the antiques.

Around the same time, Sadegh’s daughter falls ill and urgently needs surgery. However, Sadegh lacks the financial means to cover the operation costs. To his surprise, Sasan Rouzbeh, one of the officials involved in the antiquities smuggling group, pays for Sadegh’s daughter’s medical expenses at the hospital. Sadegh appears to develop a friendship with Rouzbeh and his wife and aids Rouzbeh after she is arrested.

Sadegh acts as an intermediary between Rouzbeh and Harun, an antiques dealer in London, and assists Rouzbeh’s wife, who has been compromised while dealing with foreign diplomats. Harun, who becomes suspicious of Sadegh, starts making arrangements to smuggle the antiques out of the country and instructs his deputy to eliminate Sadegh.

As Sadegh learns the whereabouts of the antiques, he is saved from harm by agents under the command of Haj Morteza. These agents manage to apprehend the smugglers after arresting Sadegh.
