Two Hearts, One Promise | همقسم

Reza (Mohammedreza Fazeli) and Monir (Marjan) get to know each other and agree to stay loyal to each other’s love. While the two are preparing for their marriage, Akbar (Yadollah Shirandami), Reza’s close friend, returns from a trip abroad and without knowing about Reza and Monir’s love, he gets to know Monir and falls in love with her. Akbar asks Reza to propose Monir for him. Reza asks Monir to agree to marry her friend Akbar, and to turn a blind eye to Reza. Monir, because of his interest in Reza, accepts his request, and sits at the wedding table with Akbar. Jalil (Amir Tajik), who has an old grudge against Reza, makes Akbar suspicious of Monir and Reza’s relationship. Thinking that Reza has an illicit relationship with Monir, Akbar rejects them; But Reza and Monir make him understand that his idea was wrong. Akbar kills himself with a knife in order not to hinder their happiness.
