همیشه قهرمان

Forever a Hero | همیشه قهرمان

PersianDrama 100 min 1972

Nayeb Khan’s operatives evict a man named Abbas Ali for failing to meet his rent obligations. Amir (Reza Beyk Imanvardi), Nayeb Khan’s son, sympathizes with Abbas Ali’s plight. On the back of Nayeb Khan’s complaint, Abbas Ali is incarcerated, leading to a heart attack suffered by his ailing daughter (Fariba Forohar). Amir, aided by his friend (Syed Ali Miri), rushes the sick girl to the hospital. Nayeb Khan strips Amir of his rightful inheritance, transferring his wealth to his adopted son Qasem (Hayk Hospian). While at Etisam cafe (Jahangir Forouhar), Amir encounters Shirin (Marjan), the café’s singer, and discovers Qasem’s underhanded intentions toward her. To fund Abbas Ali’s daughter’s medical treatment, Amir engages in a wrestling match but is defeated by an anonymous masked opponent, who is revealed to be Qasem. Amir pretends to be enamored with Shirin, manipulating her emotions to secure funds for the girl’s treatment from Etisam. The girl eventually recuperates. In a selfless act, Amir donates one of his kidneys to his father. Upon learning of Amir’s sacrifice, Nayeb Khan has a change of heart and offers Amir his wealth, yet Amir declines. Amir’s friend alerts Shirin about the situation just before her wedding to Qasem. Together, they all pursue Amir, thwarting his departure from the city. Eventually, with the approval of Nayeb Khan and Abbas Ali, Abbas Ali is released from prison.
