Pari, a distinguished student of literature and theater, who enjoys all the advantages of a young girl’s life, undergoes intellectual and emotional transformations by reading a small green book. The book is the biography of an anonymous mystic in the 5th century of Hijri. After reading the book, Pari, although he wants higher spiritual levels, gets discouraged from ordinary life and wanders in the painful valley of seeking. The book belongs to his older brother, Asad.
