Panther in the Night | پلنگ در شب

Mehdi Panther is released from prison after seven years and faces Qasem and his gang, who have closed his gambling house, beaten his servant, and bullied the locals. Mehdi helps an old woman named Bibi Kowkab and her granddaughter Maryam, whose father is in prison. Maryam asks Mehdi to pretend to be her father at a gathering of her friends. Mehdi agrees, and they gradually develop a liking for each other. Qasem and his men plot to kill Mehdi. After failing, they kidnap Maryam and take Mehdi out of town to force him to sign over his properties. Mehdi agrees to their demands; however, Qasem breaks his promise and tries to harm Maryam, shooting Mehdi in the process. In retaliation, Mehdi runs over Qasem with a car. The police arrive and arrest Mehdi.
