The Mirror | Āyeneh | آینه

A young schoolgirl is left on her own when her mother doesn’t show up after class. Trying to make her way home, she moves through the crowded streets of Tehran, increasingly overwhelmed by the city’s rush and confusion. What begins as a simple attempt to navigate the urban maze gradually becomes a meditation on cinema itself.
