Babak Fozooni
Dr. Babak Fozooni is a tutor at The Open University and an interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of psychology, media, and critical theory. He holds six academic degrees, including a PhD in Psychology (Manchester Metropolitan University), an MA in Film & TV Studies (University of Westminster), and an MA in Social Sciences (Open University).
He has taught at the University of East London, University of Westminster, Birkbeck College, and The Open University. His most recent book, Psychology, Humour and Class: A Critique of Contemporary Psychology (Routledge, 2020), explores the ideological dimensions of psychology through humour and class analysis. Dr. Fozooni’s research interests include critical psychology, psychoanalysis, cultural critique, and the politics of representation in media and film.
