Parastoo Haddadi
Parastoo Haddadi is a Film editor, Photographer and Painter. As a film editor she edited Long documentary films such as “Grains and seeds”, ” Lost swallow”, some short documentary films for UN WHO, UN FAO and more film projects for Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts MCTH of Iran. She has contributed as the second film editor and film distributor on the long documentary film”Dance of Life”, which won 14 international awards. Her expertise in visual storytelling also extends to photography, where she has captured landscapes and traditional lifestyles, earning recognition at the Humanity Photo Awards (HPA) 2017 and the Khayyam Photo Festival 2014.
Her paintings use symbolic imagery to represent feminine strength and resilience. Drawing from imagination, her evocative narratives delve into human emotion and gender equality. Her artworks have been featured in IHRAF (USA), Women Unite Art Magazine, Say It in Color Zine, and Art Hole Magazine. Parastoo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Azad university of Roodehen, But through her artistic practice, Parastoo advocates for women’s rights, gender equality by using art as a powerful tool for expression of resistance, freedom and peace.
