Sarah Farahpoor
Sarah Farahpoor is an urban studies researcher with a background in Architecture and urban design. Her work focuses on the intersections of space, representation, cinema and the city, urban inequalities, and feminist studies. She is currently a doctoral student in Geography at the University of Tennessee. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including, Representation of the change of the historical context of Tehran in Iranian cinema (2023), “Urban Poor and the Poverty of Experience in Iranian Cinema: An Investigation of the Urban Poor Representation in Iranian Cinema” (2023). She has also published a book titled ‘The Museum of Poor Neighborhoods and Their Spectators (2023) with Borj publication in Iran.
