Sepideh Amiri
Sepideh Amiri is a doctoral candidate in Art Studies at the University of Tehran, College of Fine Arts. Her research primarily focuses on Iranian and Western theater, with her dissertation examining the the correlation between Greek and modern tragedies and their ethical implications. She has authored several articles on Iranian playwrights and authors such as Gholamhossein Saedi and Abu Torab Khosravi, exploring various aspects of their works, including representations and connotations of body, time, space, and language. Her research interests span theater and film studies, gender studies, Iranian women’s movement, historical sociology, literature, art history, ethics, and aesthetics.
