Filming locations in Iranian cinema before the revolution (1930-1979)
In this article, the locations of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema (1930-1979) are discussed. These locations, including Ghahve-Khaneh, Zour-Khaneh, Hammam, Ziarttgah, Khaneh, and Ghabrestan, played a crucial role in representing the everyday life and culture of the pre-revolutionary period, providing backdrops, shelters, and rituals, making them essential elements of the cinematic experience. It also explores how directors of classic Iranian cinema have subtly incorporated familiar locations into their narratives in order to attract viewers and further their plots.
