Mansoor Behnam
Mansoor Behnam is an interdisciplinary scholar of Film, Comparative Literature, and Cultural Studies. In addition to Iranian Cinema, his scholarly pursuits revolve around the intersection of Islamic Thought/Mysticism and the Philosophy of Immanence, as he tirelessly seeks to unravel the potential connections, particularly within cinema. Alongside his research, Mansoor occasionally crafts experimental videos that draw inspiration from his academic inquiries and his experience as an immigrant. These research-creation projects have been screened and discussed in various art venues, including artist-run centers, universities, and museums.
